About Me
- Name: Kristina
- Location: Corleone, Sicily, Italy
I live with my husband and son in a little apartment in Corleone, Sicily. I am from Toronto, Canada and moved back to my husband's hometown in January 2010 to start a new kind of life. I started this blog as a cooking and baking site, to record my recipes and my thoughts alongside them. I have decided to pick up this blog where I left off some time ago, to record observations about our daily life. I don't have much time left now for leisurely breakfasts or daydreaming, but that is okay with me! My days are occupied instead by working at the Anti Mafia Museum in Corleone, and by chasing after my one and a half year old ball of energy. I want to inspire myself with the things going on all around me...

Ha, ha! So maybe today you'll have time for the batter!
Hee, hee! Actually, I did finish it last night (it's such a quick dessert) but didn't have the patience to photograph it before we dug in after dinner! It's somewhat shamefull, but we actually ate more than half of it...at least I can say its quite wholesome for a dessert: wild blueberries, free range eggs and organic milk--and very little sugar! I found these wild blueberries in the freezer case last weekend at the grocery store and I think they are great for baking. Maybe I will buy some when they are in season and freeze them, for my own supply!
BTW Linda--I like your newest recipe for the whole grain pecan cookies, and I'm still trying to think of a good recipe with maple syrup, it's the season now!
Hey Kris,
That dessert looks scrumptious! I hope you are doing well. Miss ya,
Jess
Thanks Jess! Yes, doing pretty well, especially when I'm eating/ making sweets!
